Today I removed the tape and weights and hit the deck with the sander. Overall I think it looks fairly good!
Now I'll need to seal on the underside of the deck where it meets the cockpit sides (they don't meet the deck very well... need to rethink that step a bit). Then to fiberglass the deck.
Then it'll be time to start to consider how I'll be finishing the hull... sealing, sanding, painting, etc...!
Here's what the boat looks like so far with the fin and rudder temporarily installed.
